Sweedy Homes was founded in 2012 by brothers Chris and Sam Sweedy in pursuit of constructing modern architectural marvels. Chris’s impressive industry credentials stem from over a decade in the building industry across Construction Management and Quantity Surveyance, while Sam is a born entrepreneur with a meticulous eye for inspired design.

Following his graduation from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Hons) in 2010, Chris pursued a career in the commercial industry in cost-consultancy and quantity surveyance before turning his attention toward residential development.
Noticing a gap in the market for full-service custom home builders in South Australia, Chris founded Sweedy Homes in 2012. Chris is perpetually fascinated by the logistical aspect of project management, implementing his scrupulous eye for coordination, planning and attention to detail throughout each stage of construction.
Chris specialises in the financial side of building luxury homes, with astonishing aptitudes in budgeting, scheduling and value engineering. Leading a cohesive team from office to field, Chris ensures relationships are held in high esteem to facilitate the best results for his clients with consistent communication and transparency.
Having worked in the building industry for over a decade, Chris has developed an impressive network of talented craftsmen and suppliers. He overseas daily operations on site and is perpetually enthralled by overcoming the challenges of complex projects.

Sam Sweedy
Director
The youngest of the Sweedy siblings, Sam was born with an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit and founded an empire in hospitality prior to formally joining his brother Chris at Sweedy Homes.
Sam has refined his innovative vision throughout over 10 years leading design, branding and construction projects across multiple food and beverage locations, gaining crucial insight into consumer behaviours and tastes along the way.
